2017年3月26日-30日，第17届“河流湖泊环境国际研讨会17th International Symposium on River and Lake Environment”在日本著名的琵琶湖畔立命馆大学草津校区（Biwako Kusatsu Campus of Ritsumeikan University）隆重举行，我所国家重点实验室科研人员朱广伟、陈宇炜、谢丽强、邢鹏、施丽梅、刘霞和博士生刘金福组团参会，全部以大会口头报告的形式，向与会的近150名国际同行展示了本所在湖泊生态环境领域的最新研究成果。7个参会人员的报告题目是：朱广伟Variation of nutrient concentration in recent 12 years in Lake Taihu, China; 陈宇炜Ecological study of planktonic community in Lake Poyang during the flood season; 谢丽强Accumulation of microcystins in a dominant Chironomid Larvae (Tanypus chinensis) of a large, shallow and eutrophic Chinese lake, Lake Taihu; 邢鹏Differences in the composition of Archaeal Communities in sediments from contrasting zones of Lake Taihu; 施丽梅Specification of bacteria attached to Microcystis colonies compared with other bulk bacterial communities; 刘霞A comparison of factors influencing the summer phytoplankton biomass in China’s three largest freshwater lakes:Poyang, Dongting and Taihu; 刘金福Effects of water level fluctuations on phytoplankton functional group seasonal succession in a Yangtze River connected lake(Poyang Lake)。同时，朱广伟研究员还担任“水域生物管理”专题的主持人。

　　ISRLE是有着悠久历史的国际水域环境领域的专业研讨会，通常由中国、日本和韩国轮流主办，每2-3年举办一届，我所国家重点实验室朱广伟和陈宇炜二位研究员是新一届ISRLE科学委员会理事。本次ISRLE会议主题是“Towards Future Lakes: Integration of Limnology and Society”，有4个大会特邀报告，另外分为10个专题的60余个大会口头报告（Oral presentation）和2个专题的近60个墙报（Poster），会议期间还组织考察了琵琶湖的20余年生态修复成果，对中国现阶段的富营养化湖泊治理提供了很实用的借鉴经验。
