General
The purpose of the East Eurasia International Workshop is to exchange information on present earth surface processes and long-term environmental changes in East Eurasia for sustainable Earth and establishing mutual understanding on earth environment.
This international workshop was initially held in Daejeon, Korea (2004), and was subsequently in Kanazawa, Japan (2005), Seoul, Korea (2006), Nanjing, China (2007), Hakodate, Japan (2008), Taipei, Taiwan (2009), Jeju Island, Korea (2010), Chengdu, China (2011), Kobe, Japan (2012) and Kwangju, Korea (2013).
The 11th East Eurasia International Workshop which will be held on October 13-16, 2014 in Nanjing , China, aims to provide a forum for accessing to the most up-to-date and authoritative researches from Quaternary geology, sedimentology, geomorphology and environmental sciences.

October 13: Arrival at Hangzhou;Registration;
October 14: Opening ceremony, Sessions for oral presentations,and welcome party;
October 15: Sessions for oral presentations and posters;Farewell party;
October 16-17: Field Excursion;
October 17: Departure from Hangzhou.
Registration:
Participants please fill the Registration Information Form (attachment file) and send to yguo@niglas.ac.cn before May 31 of 2014.
The registration desk will be open October 13, 2014.
Fees
The fees will include registration, banquet and excursion. Fees should be paid in Chinese Yuan at the registration desk.
The fee numbers will be offered in the 2nd circulation up to the workshop extent size.
Presentation and Abstract
The workshop will include oral presentation and poster sessions. The official language for all presentations is English. Abstracts will be required from all participants wishing to submit a poster or oral presentation in the workshop. Accepted abstracts will be published in the workshop program volume, which will be distributed to all participants.
Abstracts must be written in English and should include, in this order: Abstract title, Authors’ names (fist name family name), Affiliation (Institutions and address), First author’s e-mail and Abstract text (less than 2000 words and figures, whole less than two pages).
Abstracts will be accepted by e-mail (To : yguo@niglas.ac.cn) before Sept. 15 of 2014.
Accommodation (with breakfast):
· 500~750 Yuan /night for a standard room .
Room reservation for the hotel will be made by the secretariat of the workshop.
Field Excursion
Two day excursions will be in Hangzhou area, including Quaternary geologic and geomorphologic contents on large-lagoons, wetland, tidal-type river delta, coastlines etc.
Weather
Middle of October in Nanjing and Hangzhou is called a golden season. It is very nice weather and the temperature will usually be 15- 25°C.
